Need to run other crap so formatting isn't garbage for humans. Get XMLNode, but need to cast to XMLElement to do anything worthwhile. I don't work much with xml, so I may just be OOL, but man, that seemed dumb as shit. The regular xml libraries are worse in every single way I can imagine, half the time shit is read only and I need to cast to some other object just so I can alter attributes and have them be updated. I recently had to work with xml and faced a similar hell, but decided to not use linq as some of my juniors were struggling with understanding it. I don't find linq all too hard, though I tend to only use it for very simple things because of the potential maintenance overhead. As long as it's wrapped in a method somewhere, I'm typically good with it.
Do you have something funny to share with fellow programmers? Please take it to /r/ProgrammerHumor/.It is based on graphs and is different from a swing and AWT. JavaFX is a new way to develop a desktop application. The swing is based on Java means completely Java-based development can be done with the help of the Java Swings package. Do you have a question? Check out /r/learnprogramming, /r/cscareerquestions, or Stack Overflow. One of the main uses of java is in the desktop application, to help this Java gives AWT, JavaFX, and Swings.Direct links to app demos (unrelated to programming) will be removed.
#Best java compiler for swing code
If there is no code in your link, it probably doesn't belong here. Just because it has a computer in it doesn't make it programming. That means no image posts, no memes, no politics.
Since they are written in pure Java, they run the same on all platforms, unlike the AWT which is tied to the underlying platforms windowing system. Java Swing is built on top of an abstract windowing toolkit API purely written in Java programming language. Swing widgets provide more sophisticated GUI components than the earlier Abstract Window Toolkit. It is used to create window-based applications which makes it suitable for developing lightweight desktop applications.
